Volunteering wasn’t just something Jayla did—it was part of who she was. From an early age, she had a heart for giving back, always stepping up to serve her community in any way she could. As a proud member of NJROTC, Jayla was known for her willingness to help at every event, showing up with enthusiasm, energy, and a big smile.

Her love for volunteering ran so deep that it became a family effort—her mom, dad, and grandmother all took her to different service opportunities. She was always eager to help, whether it was supporting local events, assisting those in need, or simply showing up where extra hands were needed. Even at her funeral, one of her Master Sergeants couldn’t help but laugh as he shared a story about how Jayla was always the first to sign up—especially when the event promised good food!

Now, we invite you to carry on that same spirit of service. By volunteering with Jayla’s Voice; Echoes of Addiction, you’re not just giving your time—you’re continuing Jayla’s legacy. You’re becoming an echo of her voice, spreading kindness, support, and awareness to those who need it most.

Sign up today and help us make an impact—just like Jayla would have!!

Let’s honor her by serving, giving, and making a difference—one volunteer at a time.

Volunteering not only benefits those faced with the loss of a loved one to overdose. It's something you - the volunteer- will carry with you forever, the experience of helping others and giving yourself to a rightful cause.
