Blane Harding

Blane Harding is the former Director of Diversity Engagement for the Office of Inclusion and Diversity at Virginia Tech University and has served as the Director of Advising, Recruitment, and Retention for the College of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno from 2017-2020and the Director of The Cultural Center at the University of Nevada Reno from 2015-2017. He previously served as the Director of Multicultural Affairs at the University of Kansas. Mr. Harding is also a consultant and has worked with over 65 institutions of higher learning across the country as well as numerous private and public organizations. He retired from Colorado State University, after 24 years of service, in 2012, where he served as the Director of Advising, Recruitment, and Retention for the College of Liberal Arts and a lead faculty for the Black Studies Program. Most recently he has served as a DEI Consultant with Cayuga Community College in Auburn from 2023-2024. While in Auburn during that time he conducted workshops and presentations for the Auburn Enlarged City School District, Skaneateles Public School System, Auburn Human Rights Commission, BID, Cayuga Action Program (developed strategic plan) and a series of workshops for city employees including the Police and Fire Departments.
