Willie Spears is a dynamic educator, coach, and motivational speaker whose career spans more than two decades in high school athletics, classroom teaching, and leadership development.

He spent twenty years in education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. In 2023, he was awarded an honorary doctorate and also holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communications and education. Coach Spears has a deep passion for people—especially youth—and has dedicated his life to inspiring and equipping the next generation.

As the owner and operator of The Willie Spears Experience, he has inspired thousands of individuals from pre-kindergarten to college through keynote presentations, workshops, and leadership training. His speaking style blends humor, authenticity, and storytelling, captivating audiences across schools, universities, athletic programs, and corporate spaces.

One cause especially close to his heart is educating young people about the dangers of drug use and abuse, aligning his message of purpose, discipline, and self-worth with prevention and empowerment.

Originally from Panama City, Florida, Coach Spears draws from his experiences as a student-athlete, educator, and community leader to connect with audiences nationwide. He continues to serve as a mentor and motivator, challenging others to lead with faith, integrity, and resilience.
